MOTHER NATURE INSPIRES YARDCORE’S BOGAN VILLA PROJECT

Reggae one drop has received new steam this month with the release of the highly anticipated Bogan Villa Riddim. Reggae recording artiste Yaadcore is the mastermind behind the project, with his 12 Yaad Record label, alongside composers Zion Productions from Costa Rica.

This is the first official juggling project being released by Yaad Records, however multiple singles have already been on tap for the label, including Yaadcore’s ‘Ready Now’ single that was released in 2019 and is still trending with over one million views on YouTube.

“This project was created in 2019 by Zion Records when I visited Costa Rica and then I added a few guitar lines. That was when I wrote my single on the project called “When It Rains” because it was raining very hard and that was my inspiration for that song,’ Yaadcore shared.

Artistes tapped to be on the Bogan Villa project include Fred Locks, Meleku, Karbon, Yaadcore and Sizzla Kolonji; acts who complimented the smooth, easy and laid back vibe of the authentic reggae project itself.

“Bogan Villa’s name was inspired by the bougainvillea; one of my favorite plants that has beauty but is also full of makka (thorns). So it gave a balance to the songs on the project; not only girl songs but still having that soft smooth feel,” Yaadcore added.

The Bogan Villa project is considered unique because of the nostalgic reggae feel with fresh sounds from both veteran artists and young upcoming artistes.

“If you are a true reggae lover, or in the mood for motivational sounds as well as the romantic essence of reggae then Bogan Villa is something you should listen to and hold a meditation,” Yaadcore confirmed.

Hosted by Noble Works Entertainment, Yaadcore recently performed in Toronto, October, 2024, to well received reviews.
