Aza Lineage and King Jammy continue their tradition of making good music with the release of their new single “Rule The Sound.”
In 2019, Aza released her fan-favorite single “Sound System.” Produced by King Jammy for his King Jammy Digital Productions imprint, the song took the Soundsystem community by storm, and was heard in most dances worldwide. Fast-forward to 2025, and the duo gives the Sound community another gem called “Rule The Sound.”
The song, with its Roots Reggae vibe, comes equipped with a nice skank and perfect flute riff for audiofiles. Aza’s luring performance on this track keeps to her ethos of paying respect to Roots Reggae while adding her charisma as a younger generation performing artist. Her background, steeped in music, is grounded by her family’s Serious Gold sound system which served as both a community anchor and a rich source of cultural knowledge. Those early experiences shaped her artistic sensibilities, grounding her in reggae’s heritage while inspiring her to carve out her own creative path.
